Excellent

Does everything I would expect of a keyboard.

While I understand auto disconnect saves battery power, it has taken a while to get used to initiating a bluetooth reconnect when I first start using my iMac.

Great Keyboard

This keyboard is a good keyboard. I replaced the wireless keyboard on my Mac with this unit. I only have a couple of complaints. One is that it goes to sleep to soon. If you are using the mouse for an extended period of time or reading on the monitor and go to use the keyboard you have to hit a key a couple of times to wake it up before using. I wish that the time for sleeping could be selected by the user. I know that the longer it is not sleeping it is using the battery, but that should be a choice of the operator not the software. The other issue I have is the size of the lettering on the numeric keypad portion. The lettering (or the numbers) is to small. They should at least be the same size font as the letters on the rest of the keyboard.
I know this keyboard's purpose is to be used by Mac or Windows users but I think they should be designated for one or the other. The reason I say this is that there are a couple of keys on the keyboard that are on no use and just clutter up the keyboard when you are looking for a particular key.
Other than those few things I really like the keyboard. It feels good when typing. The keys seem to have good movement. I would recommend this keyboard and I would highly recommend it if we were given the choice of time when it would go to sleep. At the very least extend the time to going to sleep to a couple of minutes maybe 5 or 10.

Nice build quality but odd function keys

The Echelon keyboard has great battery life and good build quality. But my frustration was with ALogic’s choice to substitute the usual function keys for their own special ones that don’t seem to do much and are not reprogrammable. That meant I had to spend a lot of time reconfiguring keyboard shortcuts for different apps I use. I also don’t like how the keyboard goes to sleep quickly and then needs several seconds to wake back up.
