How do I use Clarity's USB-A ports?
In order for your computer to access devices you've plugged into Clarity's two rear USB-A ports, you need to ensure your computer is:

1. Connected to Clarity via either:Clarity's USB-C port or Clarity's USB-B port

To change Clarity's "Active USB" mode, navigate to "USB Switch" in the "Other Settings" menu of Clarity's main menu.

Troubleshooting

When I wake my computer from sleep mode, Clarity doesn’t come back on.
In some cases, it’s possible for Clarity not to recognize the wake-up signal from a connected computer. This issue occurs most often when Clarity is connected to a computer through a dock.

To resolve the issue, restart Clarity by pressing the power button twice – it should recognize the connected device as part of its boot-up sequence.

If this issue persists, we recommend trying the following steps to isolate the issue:

Connect Clarity directly to your computer
Try connecting with a different cable or port.
ie. Use DisplayPort instead of USB-C
Update your computer’s operating system.

If your problem reoccurs and these these steps do not help resolve it, please contact ALOGIC support ( support.au@alogic.co).

Webcam

What resolution is Clarity’s webcam?
Clarity Max Pro/Touch’s webcam has an 8MP sensor, or 8 million pixels. This is roughly equivalent to a 4K image.
Does Clarity Pro’s webcam have a microphone?
Yes, Clarity Pro’s webcam includes an array of four microphones to capture sound.
What programs does Clarity Pro’s smart webcam support?
Clarity Pro’s smart webcam slides up and down whenever your computer’s operating system (macOS, Windows, Chrome) attempts to access a webcam feed, not specific integrations with each application.

As a result, the webcam will work with any program attempting to access a webcam.

This includes videoconfering programs such as:

Microsoft Teams
Skype
Google Meet
Slack
Cisco Webex
Zoom
GoTo Meeting

As well as livestreaming programs like:

Open Broadcaster Software (OBS)
Xplit
Streamlabs
How do I adjust the webcam’s framing?
To adjust the framing of your webcam, you first need to slide the webcam up.

Open a program which requires the webcam – on Windows 11 we recommend the “Camera” app or “Photo Booth” on macOS.

Open this application and switch the active camera to Clarity Pro’s – this can be done via the “Camera” menu in Photo Booth or hitting the “Switch Camera” button in Camera – see below.

Once you’ve activated Clarity Pro’s webcam, it will slide up out of the monitor. You can now adjust its vertical framing using the scroll wheel on the rear of the camera.

Did not deliver quality

So many issues wrong with this product. The main issue is colour quality, which is not up to standard.

Needs a bit tweaking

It is a great design and really good stand that offers flexibility. I find however, the display lacks auto dimming, what is supper annoying, and forcing the user to adjust manually. The buttons and general controls menu is extremely dated and not user friendly at all. Maybe the touch screen offers better controls but I will never find out because I haven’t got one. I am not sure if the cost can be justified.

Doing the Job!

I purchased the Clarity max Pro 32” UHD 4 K Monitor with USB-C Power delivery and Webcam to support my new Apple Mac Book Pro. I wanted this to ensure that I could see my high quality graphics on a 4K screen and also to support my teleconferences with a good quality webcam. The Clarity was extremely easy to set up. It required no tools. All the cables were supplied for various connections. It took only about 5 minutes to set up. Once connected I had a bit of a problem understanding that I needed one cable to plug into my Mac to get the webcam to work automatically—but once I realised this it also was easy to set up and work. I have my son who is a graphic designer and engineer come to look at the monitor and he wants one for his work now with his PC. I also will purchase another one for use by my wife who is an accountant—she will have a larger, good quality screen to do her work. I rate the Clarity Max Pro 32 as an excellent monitor for the money. Also, I ordered on-line and was able to get a 20% discount. Delivery took about 4 working days. Very good purchase.

Great Monitor ….but...

Overall very happy with the monitor……However the inbuilt webcam is pretty poor,,,,the image quality quite frankly is lacking and it has very limited adjustability……find I have to move the whole screen up and down and swivel it to capture myself in the viewing screen, but then the rest of the screen is not at a comfortable height or angle……..just go for the non-web cam model and buy a seperate webcam and you’ll be very happy.

Bright, crisp, but color only ok

The monitor is well designed, easy to put together, easy to connect to my MacBook Pro. The resolution is crisp, but the color is not nearly as vivid as a Mac or as accurate. The on screen menu is a little tricky to navigate and it’s taken some time for me to calibrate the settings to get the color to be accurate, and it’s still only about 90%. Will likely save to get an Apple display next.
