ALOGIC Quad 4K Display Thunderbolt Hybrid Universal Docking Station – DU4
Up to 4K x 4
When linked to a computer that supports Thunderbolt (or many USB4 machines) the DU4 dock can connect up to four external displays in flexible combinations of the 2x HDMI, 3x DisplayPort and 2x Thunderbolt downstream ports*.
The DU4 dock will also connect up to three displays to laptops that don’t support Thunderbolt.
* The available number of outputs and maximum resolutions are dependent on the capabilities of the computer used with the docking station. Refer to the resolution support table for full details on the output capabilities of computers based on their specifications.

The DU4 docking station provides universal compatibility and works with all Windows, Mac and Chromebook computers and laptops.
In addition to supporting up to four external displays, the dock provides ample connections for all other standard peripherals including:
- 2 x Thunderbolt 4 downstream ports (40Gbps / video output capable)
- 2 x HDMI video outputs
- 3 x DisplayPort video outputs
- 1 x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 (10G)
- 1 x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 (10G)
- 2 x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 (5G)
- 2 x USB-A 2.0 (480M)
- 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet
- Combo Headphone/Microphone Jack (384 kHz)
- SD and Micro SD Card Reader (SD 4.0 / UHS-II - 312Mbps)
Allowing all modern USB-C equipped or older USB-A† computers to be connected to a minimum of two displays, this dock enables IT professionals and organisations to deploy the DU4 docking station as a single solution across all users.
The DU4 dock helps removes clutter and can power statically assigned workspaces and flexible hot desks in any organisation.
Lock slots allow the dock to be secured when used in shared workspaces.
† Requires a USB-C to A adapter or cable – available separately.

The dock features a 150W power adapter featuring GaN technology for powerful and efficient operation.
As well as powering the dock and all connected peripheral devices, the dock can provide up to a huge 96W of power to the connected laptop – enough to charge all but the most power hungry machines.
General
Note that the dock is limited to 2x HDMI or DisplayPort video outputs when connected to a USB-A port on a computer.
Maximum resolutions for the different outputs vary depending on the capabilities of the connected computer. Guidance on achievable resolutions can be found in the resolution support table in the specifications for the product.
96W is sufficient to charge most laptops that are available. There are a few mobile workstation and gaming type laptops however that require more than 96W of power to charge reliably; mainly those that include a dedicated graphics processor (GPU) separate to the processor.
If in doubt as to whether more power is required, please check the power output of the power adapter that was supplied with the computer. If the power adapter is over 100W in size, it should also be connected to the laptop while the laptop is connected to the docking station.
